Jessica Carvajal, Acupuncture Physician
Jessica is a licensed and board-certified acupuncture physician and herbalist. She completed her training at Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine (ATOM) graduating with a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, and a certificate in Injection Therapy. Previous to attending ATOM, Jessica studied at Florida International University, graduating with a BA in Psychology. During schooling and post-graduation she has been working as a Herbalist at a Chinese herbal medicine shop. Upon licensing, Jessica continues learning through her apprenticeship with Dan Atchison-Nevel, founder of NSEV Healing.
Jessica’s interest in alternative healing began in her early 20’s. She was first introduced to Acupuncture as a last resort for an ongoing health issue, she was amazed at the progress she was able to make under the care of her acupuncturist.
Venessa Socorro, Ayurvedic Practitioner
Venessa is a Ayurvedic counselor and licensed massage therapist. She studied at Sampoorna Ayurvedic College in Miami, FL. Continuing her education in the human body and its mechanics, Venessa attended Acupuncture and Massage College and graduated with a license in Massage Therapy and a certificate in Shiatsu, Japanese Body work. Venessa is Reiki certified and received additional training in Marma Therapy, and Herbal Medicine.
Venessa attended a 3 week intensive Ayurvedic program at Apathasree Hospital in Kannur, India in fall 2022 where she worked hands on making herbal medicine, saw over 150 patients through the doctor, and learned a variety of body treatments for different types of imbalances.
